I created Lily Skillet in order to produce a wholesome and healthy granola that tastes great and is good for you. I have always been passionate about cooking, healthy eating and mindful living.

In a cast iron skillet passed down by my grandmother, I made granola as vacation snacks, Christmas gifts and even as favors for my wedding.

After my son was born, I began to notice that so many of the cereals and snacks in the store had added sugar, preservatives and unrecognizable ingredients.

 

I wanted to create a product that I would feel good about giving to my child, one that was made with wholesome ingredients and had no refined sugar.  A year later, Lily Skillet was born.

In addition to being a self-taught chef, I am also a lawyer, specializing in corporate and non-profit law. My dream is to one day create a non-profit which advocates for proper nutrition for children.
